Tamil actor Daniel Balaji passed away on Friday, March 29 night. He suffered a heart attack following which he was rushed to a private hospital in Chennai, where he took his last breath. Balaji’s final rites will be held today. He was at age of 48.

The news of Daniel Balaji’s sudden death has shocked fans and others. Director Mohan Raja paid tribute to Balaji via his X handle and wrote, “Such a Sad news. He Was an inspiration for me to join film institute. A very good friend. Miss working with him. May his soul rest in peace
One of the fans expressed grief at Balaji’s sudden demise and called him “the greatest villain of Tamil Cinema and one of the finest actors of Indian Cinema.” Daniel Balaji made his acting debut in the Tamil industry with the 2022 film April Madhathil. However, he became popular with Gautham Menon and Suriya-Jyotika’s Kaakha Kaakha. He later appeared in several other Tamil movies including Vidhi Madhi Ultaa and Polladhavan. He also starred in Thalapathy Vijay’s Bairavaa, Dhanush’s Vada Chennai, and Vijay’s Bigil.
