T-20 World Cup 2024 ICC Men’s has begun to countdown; it will take place in June in the USA and the West Indies. On June 9, India and Pakistan will play a high-stakes match in New York. There is a significant demand for tickets to the India-Pakistan game, according to the ICC. Tickets for the India-Pakistan match are currently more than 200 times oversold, according to an ICC statement.
A public ballot was used to release the tickets for the massive tournament, and it closed on February 7 after seven days. On February 22, the remaining tickets went on sale. The game will be held at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on Long Island.
CEO of T-20 World Cup 2024 USA Brett Jones expressed his excitement at the level of support the competition is receiving. “We’re thrilled with the support we’re seeing, and there is no data point like ticket sales to showcase the level of enthusiasm that’s out there.” The T-20 World Cup 2024 will drastically alter cricket in the United States, so it’s up to us to seize this opportunity, according to Jones.
Not only the India vs. Pakistan event, but also the Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana semifinals and the Barbados final saw an overabundance of ballots cast. There was also a large waiting list for tickets to the two Super Eight games that took place in Barbados and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. However, there are tickets available for every other West Indies match.
